Should Wenger be Arsenal manager for life?

Thierry Henry reckons Arsenal should give Arsene Wenger a job for life.
 
Gunners legend Henry admits he is hurting at their recent lack of success - but warned Wenger’s critics to be careful what they wish for, the ‘Mirror’ reported.
 
Arsenal have not won anything since Henry left for Barcelona in 2007 and the French striker admits he still has a deep feeling for the club where he spent eight years, winning the league twice and the FA Cup three times.
 
Henry - who is set to face Arsenal with his current club New York Red Bulls in this weekend’s Emirates Cup competition - believes Wenger is still the man to bring success to the red half of north London.

“I would keep Arsene for life,” he said. “I know he got a bit of stick recently, but hopefully they can change that this year.
 
“They were close enough, sometimes, to win it but they didn’t. In football, you get judged on what you win. They will realise it what Arsene was all about the day that he stops.
 
“We all know that one day, he is going to have to stop or go. But like Sir Alex Ferguson,you don’t want to be manager after him and you certainly don’t want to go after Arsene Wenger.
 
“The boss changed the face of the club and, for me, I would keep Arsene for life.”
 
Henry added he still feels the pain of supporters who have gone without silverware for six years.
 
He said: “I am an Arsenal fan, I just want to see them winning and I am one of those fans.
 
“I am suffering because we didn’t win anything for a very long time but I hope that they can do well. You have got to stick with the guys even what they are not doing well.
 
“That is one of the most important things. Hopefully they can do it this year but, it’s difficult for me to talk about it, because I’m not in the dressing-room.”
