IPL8 RCB vs SRH: Hyderabad crush Bangalore by 8 wickets

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) stunned Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by eight wickets in Match 8 of IPL8 at at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday.

RCB put into bat were skittled out for 166 while SRH romped home in the 18th over making 172-2 in 17.2 overs.

Sunrisers came out all guns blazing with skipper David Warner leading the way with a blistering knock of 56 off 27 balls hitting six boundaries and four sixes.

SRH raced to 50 in 4.2 overs with the opening pair Warner and Dhawan posting 82 runs.

Dhawan, who was circumspect, made an unbeaten 50 from 42 while KL Rahul (44) added 78 runs in 51 balls for the third wicket to see them overhaul the modest target with 16 balls to spare.

Yuzvendra Chahal finished with respectable figures of 2 for 28 from his four overs.

Earlier, the RCB openers Chris Gayle (21) and Virat Kohli (41) made a brisk start.

Gayle made 21 from 16 but it was AB de Villiers who top-scored for RCB making 46 from 28 balls.
Leg-spinner Karn Sharma was the most economical bowler, finishing with 1 for 20, while Trent Boult was the most successful picking up three wickets.
