Asif Gafoor claimed five wickets as NMC recorded a seven-wicket victory over Red Flower Tourism in the Desert Premier League Season 3 at the Fairground Oval in Dubai Academic City.

The tournament is held under auspices of Dubai Cricket Council.

Gafoor who till then had accounted for just one wicket ran through the lower order to add another four to his tally to ensure Red Flowers Tourism were wrapped up for a meagre 96 in the final over.

In the second match, Krishna Chandran (47, 38b, 2x4, 2x6) and Bilal Cheema (42 not out, 31b, 1x4, 1x6) played crucial knocks to help Fly Emirates chase down a target of 155 in 18.3 overs set by TNS.
