Farhan Al Bastaki enters TRD 86 Cup under KBS and OBS Group sponsorship

Emirati automotive industry expert and racing driver Farhan Al Bastaki has officially announced his participation in the TRD 86 Cup under the sponsorship of KBS Communications and OBS Group.

The TRD 86 Cup series consists of 12 races taking place in six weekends, the first of which starts this weekend with Gulf 12Hours race.

All 12 races will take place at Yas Marina Circuit, with the full support of Toyota and Al Futtaim, who recently announced the launch of Toyota Racing Development (TRD) for the first time in the region.

Farhan Al Bastaki expressed his excitement on participating in the TRD 86 Cup.

“Since my childhood, I have always known that I want to race – a desire which has been only growing stronger over time. Initially, it was Open Track Days that satiated my love of racing, and my passion has deepened even more after attending F1 and Endurance races," he said.

"I am fortunate to have many dear friends who are long-time racing enthusiasts, who have provided me with both the motivation and guidance to enter this championship. I am truly looking forward to participating in the TRD 86 Cup and experiencing the competition nature of racing, while cultivating the discipline attitude it requires to perform well and win,” he added.
