Fayyaz, Faizan shine as Ibson trounce Lanka Lions

Fayyaz Ahmed bowled another superb spell (5-40) and a quickfire unbeaten century from Faizan Asif (133) helped Ibsons Group sealed a 10-wicket victory over Lanka Lions in a Group D match of the 40th Bukhatir League 'A' Division Tournament in association with Interface Transworld.
The tournament is being organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Lanka Lions slipped from 181 for four to be 196 all out in 45.2 overs.

In reply, Ibsons Group openers made 197 for no loss in just 17.5 overs.

Faizan Asif faced only 60 deliveries scoring 133 a knock studded with 13 sixes and nine boundaries.
