Get your selfie on: Be the face of Dubai Rugby Sevens 2014

As the excitement builds for the 2014 Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, this year organisers are looking for fans to be part of the tournament advertising campaign.

The Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens is the biggest and most popular sporting event in Dubai, regularly attracting over 100,000 visitors and fans are now invited to nominate themselves to be the faces of this year’s event.

Fans are invited to post a recent #Dubai7s inspired selfie to Twitter or Instagram and tag it #Dubai7sAdvert.

Entries should be accompanied by a statement saying why they should be selected to be one of the faces of the tournament this year.

Fans from all walks of life are invited to apply, from children to adults, to supporters in fancy dress, to rugby players, both males and females.

The panel of Dubai Sevens judges will select the winners based on their photo and statement. Applicants should be available for filming during the last week of August.

All winners will feature in the advertising campaign which includes on TV, Press Ads, posters, buses, taxis, billboards and online. As well as this all winners will receive a pair of season tickets to the tournament taking place from 4-6 December.

Entries close on Wednesday August 20.
