Mountaineer, adventurer and world record holder Adrian Hayes is the second extreme sport athlete invited to speak at The SPEARO Extreme Sports Expo organised by SPEARO Magazine in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council to be held at Skydive Dubai from October 9th to the 11th.

During Adrian’s talk he will be taking visitors through his summit of Mount Everest, expeditions to the North and South poles, crossing of Greenland and the Empty Quarter as well as his recent conquest of K2 - the mountain with the highest fatality to summit rate also known as the Savage Mountain.

Speaking about the expo in October Adrian Hayes said: “I am extremely happy that the popularity of adventure sports in the UAE has grown to the point where we have an extreme sports expo for Dubai and the region.”

Zarir Saifuddin Editor of SPEARO magazine and main organiser of the event said: “I’m sure the many sports and extreme sports communities in the UAE will all be excited to hear Adrian Hayes’s talk at the expo. His adventures will definetely motivate many to push their limits in their individual lives and possibly encourage others to set out on their own adventures and set new world records. Possibly even breaking some of Adrian’s.”

The extreme sports expo, to be held appropriately at the Skydive Dubai Palm Island drop zone, will take place from October 9 - 11.

Engaging the UAE's burgeoning extreme and adrenaline sports community, the three-day event will treat fans of sports on land, air and sea to the best international and local equipment and brands.

The expo will also host demonstrations and seminars where visitors can take part in the action.

Herbert Nitsch, The Deepest Man on Earth and world record Freediver, will also be speaking at the expo about his world record breath hold dives, his near death experience on his last world record attempt to 253 metres and his full recovery.

Hayes's talk will take place at Skydive Dubai Palm Island Drop Zone on October 9 at 7:30pm.
