Malik stars as Alubond Tigers beat NMC

Zakir Malik came up with a fine all-round performance as Alubond Tigers recorded a comfortable 55-run victory over NMC in Group D of the 41st Bukhatir League for Interface Cup 2015.

The tournament is organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Alubond Tigers recovered from 79 for four to make  216 in 47.5 overs.

Malik's knock of 87 from just 65 deliveries peppered with eight boundaries and four sixes.

NMC in reply collapsed to a meagre 161 in 38.1 overs.

Nasir Aziz was the pick of the bowlers scalping three for 34.
