Racing UK is delighted to announce that Dubai has signed a two-year agreement as the channel’s holiday and business destination partner.

The partnership, which is facilitated by Falcon and Associates, means Dubai will receive significant exposure on Racing UK’s various platforms, including via the channel, online, print and promotional activities.

In addition to regular advertising across all platforms, Dubai will be the TV channel’s Official Sponsor for the 10 meetings of the Dubai World Cup Carnival and the Dubai World Cup itself, and the Channel Festival Partner for the Cheltenham Festival, John Smith’s Grand National meeting, QIPCO Guineas Festival, Investec Derby Festival, Glorious Goodwood and QIPCO British Champions Day.

Racing UK Marketing Director Clive Cottrell said: “We are delighted to have signed with Falcon and Associates and see Dubai as an ideal fit for Racing UK and a continuation of the strong and long-lasting ties between British racing and Dubai.

“We look forward to working closely with Falcon in delivering high-quality content and exposure across all our platforms, as befitting Dubai.”

John Ferguson, Vice-Chairman of Falcon and Associates and bloodstock advisor to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai said: “Dubai has a strong association with horseracing and is well known for hosting the world’s richest Group One horse race, the Dubai World Cup. We are proud to sign with Racing UK as the Destination Partner, a sponsorship which is reflective of Dubai’s continued support of the industry.”

The partnership comes on the back of a recently-announced deal between Racing UK’s parent company, Racecourse Media Group, Ascot and Dubai Media Inc, to show the best of British horseracing on terrestrial TV in the UAE and satellite/cable TV in other Middle Eastern countries.

Racing UK broadcasts horseracing from 33 of the leading British racecourses and is shown on Sky 432 (UK, NI, ROI), Virgin Media 536 (UK) or UPC 411 (ROI).
