Colombo: A gang of robbers dubbed the ‘black cat robbers’ have been busted by Sri Lankan Police.
Interestingly a sports instructor of the Sri Lankan Army is one of the gang members.
Their modus operandi involves checking deserted houses or locked homes. And they specialized in stealing only communication devices.
They enter homes through the roofs.
The arrest followed when police laid the trap after receiving at least 16 complaints from residents who filed cases of robbery.
One of them is allegedly involved in drug smuggling, too.
