Beetle-shaped robot on display in Japan

JAPAN, Tsukuba: A large beetle-shaped robot named "Kabutom RX-03", made by Japanese engineer Hitoshi Takahashi, is demonstrated at the Tsukuba Festival in suburban Tokyo. The Kabutom, 11 metres in length and weighing 17 tonnes, can "walk" with its six legs powered by diesel engines, and can also blow smoke from its nose.
