UNITED STATES, Wales: Quadruple amputee Philippe Croizon is gearing up for the fourth and final stage of an unprecedented feat of physical and mental endurance. He is in Wales, Western Alaska, preparing to swim the Bering Strait from Alaska’s Little Diomede Island, across the international date line, finishing up at the Russian island of Big Diomede.
