Emergency crews scour Italy wreck for cruise victims

ITALY, Isola del Giglio: Italian divers and mountain rescue teams scoured the wreck of a luxury liner crashed on the shores of Tuscany Monday as hopes faded of finding any more survivors on board. The head of the company that owns the vessel says the captain of the cruise liner broke the rules in an "inexplicable" error.

ITALY, Isola del Giglio: Italian rescuers resumed an increasingly desperate search for survivors inside the wreck of a luxury liner that had to be halted when the vessel began moving in choppy seas.

Carnival counts cost of cruise crash

Carnival Corp, the owner of the cruise ship that capsized off Italy's west coast, estimates the impact to 2012 earnings for loss of use alone to be around $90 million. The group said it also anticipated further costs to the business. It's shares were down 17 percent in early morning trade.
