Man jumps off bridge in suicide bid [video]

A man jumped off a high bridge in Saudi Arabia in a suicide attempt but it was not clear if he survived.

A YouTube film published by Ajel newspaper and social networks showed the unidentified man lying almost motionless on the ground after jumping down from the bridge in the Western Saudi Red Sea port of Jeddah.

One man in the background shouted:”he is still alive,” according to Ajel which said ambulances were late in arriving in the scene.
