Teacher caught lashing school boys

A teacher in Saudi Arabia was caught on camera using a stick to lash 13 school boys, prompting calls for punishing the teacher.

A YouTube film carried by Sabq newspaper showed the bearded teacher lashing the little boys on their back in an apparent punishment act as they tried to cower away.

The film was taken by the Saudi society for children care, whose chairman Matouq Al Shareef said the teacher must be punished for what he described as his cruelty.

Sabq did not say where in Saudi Arabia the school is located.
