Video: Emirates pilot's amazing landing during a raging storm

Youtube footage of an Emirates airline pilot who landed in a storm has gone viral.

The clip, was shot at Düsseldorf airport in Germany by Martin Bogdan and uploaded it the Cargospotter YouTube channel on January 5 has been viewed more than 1.7 million times.

The Emirates Boeing 777-300 featured on the video is seen descending towards the runway at an angle as the pilot compensates for the wind buffeting the aircraft from the side.

Just before the wheels touch the tarmac the pilot straightens up and makes a faultless landing.

There is second plane that lands in the video as well - an Air Berlin plane, Etihad's new European aviation partner.

    That is some serious SKILL! Out of all the planes, Emirates aircraft was the most smoothest while landing, What a pilot! The part where the nose gets aligned to the runway just seconds before touching the tarmac - CLASSIC!
