Arsenal face a tough decision.

Should the broad broom being wielded by Arsene Wenger sweep out an entire generation of players once thought worthy of the Emirates?

Or is there a case for those falling short to be given another chance?

While Andrei Arshavin could not find a place in Arsenal’s dressing room, Wenger might find himself tuck with the likes of Denilson and Carlos Vela.

According to a report in UK’s Daily Mirror, the two once-rate attackers might be forced to return to the Emirates after permanent deals fell through.

Wenger seems intent of starting up afresh in terms of players like Olivier Giroud and Yann M’Villa coming in.

Even hitman like Nicklas Bendtner  and flop jobs like Johan Djourou will be allowed to leave, but Wenger might still be stuck with Denilson and Vela.

The Mirror report stated that while Sao Paolo are not interested in signing Brazilian midfielder Denilson after a loan spell, Mexican forward Vela is also in danger of being priced out of a permanent switch to Real Sociedad.
