Bollywood’s Queen Bee or rather make that Begum Bee Kareena Kapoor has been on the forefront of cinema and brands and has often opted the latter when it comes to signing on the dotted line.

Recently, Kareena signed on one brand and refused six others which offered her fabulous money, but she did not believe in the brands. We will not mention the brands but then the actress refused to endorse them as she did not believe that it would do justice to the period she was in and the baby that she was looking forward to by December.

But then what was the reason what she signed on just one brand and refused six huge monetary offers from brands to endorse them.

Here’s why!

Earlier Kareena had done films that she did not believe in purely for money.

Sample this: Kareena signed on a bad film and a badly written script of the film Talaash for Pahlaj Nihalani for money. Kareena’s price was around a crore or rupees when she signed Pahlaj’s Talaash for 3.5 crore. “I did that film for money,” she told this writer then.

Talaash meaning search as expected was as eponymous as the name when it came to hunting for audiences at the box office.

The she did Madhur Bhandarkar’s rudderless film Heroine replacing a pregnant Aishwarya Rai who dropped out of the movie after a glorious announcement at the Cannes Film Festival.

But then these actors at the top reject over 200 films for every film they sign and reject around ten brands for the one they sign on.

Kareena who recently endorsed her dietician Rujuta Diwekar’s book said that she was craving for Indian food items. “I have a craving for bitter gourd (karela),” adding that she liked the pungent taste and added that she had lauki (bottle gourd) and muttar (peas) for lunch.  I am also craving for Indian sweetmeats,” she confessed.
