“I am an angry woman!” comes the response from Priyanka Chopra, and this rage is directed towards her “Don 2” co-star, who is none other than Shah Rukh Khan.

However, the anger she is referring to is not her real, but her reel anger that sees her warring with her Khan in the film in question, which release across UAE cinemas today.

“I reprise my role of Roma in “Don 2” and probably the best way to describe that character is that I am constantly p***** off in the film,” came the laughing response from the actress, who was in Dubai earlier this month with the film cast and crew, including Khan, director/writer/producer Farhan Akthar and Ritesh Sidhwani.

The former Miss World appeared quite psyched about her role, adding: “I played this tough chick who is blood thirsty and out for revenge; after all Don killed my brother and sister-in-law (played by Kareena Kapoor in the first instalment).

But she further explains that Roma’s feelings are more complex this time around considering a part of her also loves Don, or the person he had pretended to be in the first part.

“There’s this love-hate relationship between these two characters and that was the best part of the film, because not only does Roma hate Don, but she also loves him. And that inner struggle is where the complexity of the character lies.”

Talking about working with Akhtar again, the former Miss World said that she simply loved the way the director has even portrayed Don this time around.

“Don makes bad look oh so good,” adding: “He’s almost like an an alter ego to all of us; a hidden bad side that exists in humans.”

These days, Chopra is busy with her promotional blitzkrieg across India for “Don 2”, which will be followed by the January release of Karan Johar’s “Agneepath” remake.

But amidst all of this, the multi-talented lady has also found time to cut a pop album in Los Angeles where she has collaborated with RnB artist and good friend Jay Sean on some tracks.

“There is still work that needs to be done on the album, but it’s an exciting project that I have literally poured my heart into; I just hope everyone enjoys it as well,” she said.

Chopra hinted that she has given her inputs for the lyrics of some of the tracks, but the final decision will be that of the album producers.
