When will Apple launch its new iPad Mini Retina into the market?

Apple has already announced that it will release the new Mini in November and, given Apple’s launch history, it is most likely going to be a Friday.

Omar Kassim, CEO and founder of JadoPado, the retail store, told Emirates 24|7 that he expects the Retina Mini to become available as early as November 15.

“We have made arrangements to bring it into the country the very next day,” he said.

“We know that there are issues regarding the supply of retina display screens for the Mini, but we still hope the new Mini will be available here on November 16,” he said.

When Apple announced the launch of the iPad Mini Retina on October 22, it said the device would hit the stores late in November. That makes November 29 the most likely date.

There is another reason why Apple would likely pick November 29.

Currently, the iPad Air is flying off the shelves and there is the chance the release of the iPad Mini Retina could affect sales of the Air.

The only other reason why Apple would decide to release the new Mini earlier is because of the Thanksgiving weekend and Black Friday.

November 28 this year will be Thanksgiving Day and Apple would definitely want to release its product in time for the holiday shopping.

Apple earlier announced that the new iPad Mini will come with a Retina display with over 3.1 million pixels. The new machine will be powered by the A7 chip with 64-bit architecture.

Apple has also increased the price of the new iPad Mini by $100. The current Mini starts at $299 for a 16Gb wifi only model.
