ESC participates in "COMEX 2014" in Sultanate of Oman

Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) will be participating  in the  “International IT, Telecom & Technology Exhibition COMEX 2014” scheduled to be held from April 07-11, 2014 at Oman International Exhibition Centre, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.  15 IT companies are participating under ESC’s banner this time in “COMEX 2014”, informed Mr Kamal Vachani, Regional Director of ESC for the Middle East.

“ESC has been facilitating Indian participation on a regular basis at GITEX, Dubai  and COMEX in Oman to take advantage of the booming IT market in the Gulf and leveraging that association for getting businesses for Indian IT companies from multitude of large global corporations, which are executing projects in the region,”.  The participating Indian companies have reported to have bagged significant businesses says Mr Kamal Vachani.

The Middle East region, is an important  ICT market  in India's export basket.  The entire middle east as a whole offers immense potential to be tapped which can be witnessed by the increase in number of exhibitors in important ICT exhibitions including GITEX,  Dubai, Oman Expo etc.  ESC has been playing a very important role in organizing  Indian participation in several expos in the entire Middle East.

The growth in export to Middle East countries clearly shows the rising interest amongst the Indian ICT exporting community to explore Middle East and neighbouring countries for export prospects.   ESC invites Middle East’s IT delegation to India IT Show to further strengthen the IT relations between India and the Middle East, the Council invites a large delegation from Middle East to visit India for INDIA IT SHOW,  the largest IT global networking event in India. Software & services buyers from over 75 countries conglomerate at this business-to-business (B2B) partnering forum from  USA, UK, Europe, Middle East, Japan, China, Korea, Latin America, Africa, CIS, ASEAN region etc.
