Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), an autonomous organisation under Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology of India, has reappointed Kamal Vachani as Honourary Regional Director of ESC for the UAE and Middle East.
DK Sareen, Executive Director of ESC, said: “We are very happy to be associated with Mr Kamal Vachani, who has been instrumental in promoting exports of electronics and IT products from India to the Middle East. We are confident that Mr Kamal Vachani’s dedicated involvement in export promotion from India would benefit the entire ICT industry and will result in enhanced trade and cooperation between India and Middle East in ICT.”
He also pointed out that Vachani’s involvement with the Council will also be helpful for its exporters to play a vital role in Indo-UAE business relations in the field of electronics, hardware, software and allied services.
Vachani is representing this Council in the UAE and Middle East since 1999.
There is a significant increase in exports of hardware and IT services from India to Middle East in general and UAE in particular, said Vachani.
“It is indeed a great honour to be associated with a council like ESC and I am grateful to ESC for giving this opportunity again,” said Vachani.
