Pre-order a Samsung TV and get a Galaxy S7 edge for free

Samsung is allowing customers in the UAE to pre-book its yet to be launched KS9500 SUHD TV models and is giving away a free Galaxy S7 edge phones for free.

The latest range of Samsung TVs offer a Bazel less design, which Samsung says is the first of its kind for a curved model, and a  maximum brightness of 1,000-nits, so far the highest in market.

The 78-inch, 65-inch and 55 inch models are priced at are priced at Dh34,999, Dh14,999 and Dh9,999 respectively.

Pre-orders will started June 9 at Samsung brand shops and authorized retail stores across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

According to Samsung the models sport a 10-bit panels capable of producing over a billion colors, advanced Quantum Dot technology and a high dynamic range (HDR) experience for a higher level of contrast between light and dark images.

The new range of TVs can connect with other Samsung devices and stream content in just two-clicks. "With the Quick Connect feature on Samsung smartphones, users can perform screen- mirroring from their TVs to their mobiles and vice-versa, without the need for a Wi-Fi connection, giving them the chance to enjoy uninterrupted content regardless of where they are in the house," a note from Samsung says.  

The Smart Hub also allows users to easily control all peripherals including a set-top box, game console, or home theatre system (or any external devices) that is connected to the TV with a single through the smart remote and without any set up.

Meanwhile, the south Korean firm also announced that it is rolling out the Galaxy S7 Active, the rugged variant of its flagship model in the US starting today (June 10).

The Galaxy S7 Active retains all the premium features of the Galaxy S7 including the IP68 dust and water proof rating but also adds an additional screen protection with a polycarbonate layer on top of the screen and according to the company has even passed the US Military Standard (MIL-STD) 810G tests for such models.

The other features are similar like the  Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor with a quad-core CPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with a microSD slot for up to 200GB of additional storage, 4,000mAh battery, a 12 megapixel rear facing camera with Dual Pixel technology, fingerprint sensor.

However do not expect the device to roll out in the UAE as Samsung does not plan to launch it anywhere in the GCC.
