RTA starts issuing NOCs via Internet

The Commercial Transport Activities Department at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Licensing Agency in Dubai has launched a new service for transport and rental companies for acquiring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to renew the commercial licence electronically.

“The new electronic service assists transport and rental companies acquire the (NOC) to renew the commercial licence by following easy steps through the authority’s website: www.rta.ae,” Sultan Al Ketbi, Director of Commercial Transport Activities at the Authority, said.

About paying fees for issuing the NOC license, Al Ketbi said: “Payment will be through the electronic portfolio recently launched by the authority special to companies by uploading to www.nol.ae or through a credit card.”

He said companies in the transport and rental business will be obligated in the coming months to obtain the certificates electronically, while it will be issued electronically through the customer services centres in Dubai.
