BlackBerry 10 device not this year

New BlackBerry 10 device may not be released until December. The roadmap for new devices for Research in Motion, as reported by blog site N4BB that reports news and rumours on BlackBerry devices, RIM might be planning to release two new tablets apart from two new handheld models in 2012.

Fans can finally expect a 10-inch LTE tablet in addition to an updated 7-inch PlayBook this year.

According to the report, fans can expect at least two more Curves in 2012, mainly targeted to the East Asian and African markets.

RIM has already announced that it would launch a software update for the Playbok next month by introducing OS 2.0, which would greaty benefit the starved blackBerry users with hundreds of additional apps.

According to rumours, while the 10” playbook will be LTE enabled, the new 7” that is expected to be released in April will not be LTE but will have 3G+, meaning users don’t need to depend on the handheld device for bridging.

RIM also plans to release the mobile fusion in 2012 that will enable the enterprise service for IT admins.

But will these new ventures help RIM resurrect the slumping market share for blackberry devices?

There were rumours that Samsung might be interested to bail out the ailing Rim with a takeover.

But Samsung Electronics Co on Wednesday said it was not interested in buying Research In Motion or licensing its operating system.
