Central Bank issues statement on impending merger of NBAD and First Gulf Bank

With the impending merger of National Bank of Abu Dhabi and First Gulf Bank, the last date for The Emirates Interbank Offered Rate, EIBOR, submissions by First Gulf Bank is Tuesday, the Central Bank of the UAE has announced.

On behalf of the EIBOR panel of banks, the UAE Central Bank said that accordingly, the EIBOR panel will reduce from 11 to 10 banks starting from Wednesday.
