Dubai: The City of Arabia project in Dubai recorded sales and mortgage transactions on 23 plots of land with a combined value of approximately AED 2.4 billion, according to data from the Dubai Land Department (DLD), marking one of the largest real estate transactions recorded in the area in recent months.
The transactions reflect continued demand for development land in Dubai and highlight investor interest in large-scale projects with long-term growth potential.
Major Dubailand development
Owned by the Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group, City of Arabia is one of the flagship developments within the Dubailand area.
The project was launched in 2005 with an estimated development value of around US$20 billion and includes several major attractions and developments, including:
- Mall of Arabia
- IMG Worlds of Adventure
- Wadi Walk
- Residential, commercial and office complexes
Growing investor interest
The latest real estate activity comes as development continues across Dubailand and surrounding infrastructure projects progress, enhancing the area's attractiveness to investors and developers seeking future expansion opportunities.
Dominates daily transactions
According to Dubai Land Department data, total real estate transactions recorded on Tuesday reached approximately AED3.5 billion across 419 transactions.
The City of Arabia transaction alone accounted for around 69% of the total value of transactions recorded during the period, underscoring the scale of the deal and the continued strength of Dubai's property market.
