ADCED, ZonesCorp sign deal

The Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development (ADCED) and the Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones (ZonesCorp) have signed on Saturday an agreement of partnership aimed at supporting the development of Abu Dhabi through working together and the exchange of data, research and information.

The agreement was signed by Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, the Director-General of ADCED and Mohamed Hasan Al Qamzi, CEO of ZonesCorp.

The agreement aims to enhance cooperation between the two organisations through exchanging expertise, experience and resources and making studies, research and data available for each party. It also provides for joint activities and coordination in conferences and meetings to avoid repetition and duplication in a manner that would save time and efforts.

Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, the Director-General of ADCED, said he was pleased to sign the agreement with ZonesCorp. "The agreement", he said, "comes after ADCED had signed a number of similar agreements with other organisations in Abu Dhabi. A great deal of positive results have been realised in terms of quality of work and best practices, and no doubt the present agreement will be a qualitative addition to what has been achieved so far".

He added that these efforts will contribute to the prosperity of Abu Dhabi and its sustained economic development in compliance with the directions of the leadership and the goals of the Economic Vision 2030 Abu Dhabi.

Mohamed Hasan Al Qamzi, the CEO of ZonesCorp, on his part said, "We at ZonesCorp are continuously searching for opportunities to enhance our cooperation efforts with prominent public and private national organisations. Our agreement with ADCED marks our commitment to working together on increasing the exchange of data, research and information between us to meet our leadership's ambitions for our emirate".

The signing ceremony took place at ADCED's head office, and it was attended by a number of heads of departments at both organisations.
