Dewa building Dh98m green vehicle workshop

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) is building a green vehicle workshop, the largest of its kind in the region, at an estimated cost of Dh98 million.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dewa,  visited the construction site of the vehicle workshop in Al Ruwayyah, Dubai.

The new workshop, which will replace the one in Ras Al Khor, has been designed according to the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (Leed) criteria of the US Green Building Council Institute.

The visit was part of the field visits by Al Tayer to check on the progress of the major projects Dewa is carrying out.
