The United Arab Emirates produced about 2.6 million barrels per day of oil in December, the UAE's Energy Minister Mohammed bin Dhaen al-Hamli said on Sunday.

Asked how much the Opec member produced in December, Hamli said: "Around 2.6 (million bpd)."

"Our commitments (for December) were set at the end of October," Hamli told Reuters after a meeting of Gulf Arab oil ministers in Abu Dhabi.
