Dubai: Dubai Taxi Company has signed an agreement for the full acquisition of National Taxi Company, which operates in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, in a deal valued at AED 1.45 billion.

The acquisition includes a fleet exceeding 2,700 vehicles and is expected to significantly strengthen Dubai Taxi’s market position. Following the deal, the company’s market share in Dubai is projected to increase from 47 percent to 59 percent, alongside gaining nearly 12 percent of the Abu Dhabi market.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.
