260 exhibitors from 30 countries participate in SGI Middle East in Dubai

Mona Al Marri, Director-General of the Government of Dubai Media Office, on Tuesday inaugurated “Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East 2014” exhibition at the Dubai world Trade Centre.

The exhibition will open to 9th of January with participation of 260 exhibitors from 30 countries and attracts senior executives, specialists and experts in the industry.

Al Marri toured the exhibition and was briefed by exhibitors and companies’ representatives on the latest development that the 17th edition of SGI Middle East demonstrates. The exhibition is attracting interest of organizations working in the field of advertising, printing, media agencies and trademarks consultants.

She expressed her appreciation for the exhibition’s role and the opportunities it offers to present the latest technical and artistic developments in terms of designing, processing and producing advertising billboards and the technology related to this multi-billion industry.

Director-General of Government of Dubai Media Office asserted that the exhibitions industry is a crucial component of Dubai’s economic system, and the government is providing sufficient care for this vital sector aiming to boost Dubai’s position as prime hub for exhibitions and conferences in the region benefiting from the outstanding infrastructure and highly reliable logistic services.

SGI Middle East falls within the framework of the Dubai 2014 Shopping Festival that is organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, a subsidiary of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing. The exhibition presents the latest products and machineries related to signage, digital signage, retail signage solutions, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries and considered an important platform for all the companies that are trying to enter the Middle East Markets.
