Free business set-up at RAK FTZ for best start-up idea
Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) has announced the launch of the RAK FTZ Startup Champ Competition.
In a media statement, the free zone said the competition challenges aspiring businessmen to present their innovative and unique business plans for a chance to win a business set-up package.
“RAK FTZ organised the Startup Champ Competition to encourage creativity and innovation among startup entrepreneurs. This initiative is focused on nurturing new innovators, and helping them become tomorrow’s business leaders,” said Ahmad Numan, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications, RAK FTZ.
According to him, the most promising candidate will win a business set-up package, which includes a business licence, a facility and business support services specifically designed to sustain start-up growth.
“We have the utmost respect for small and medium-sized enterprises as they have always been a major contributor to the diverse economy of Ras Al Khaimah and RAK FTZ. The RAK FTZ Startup Champ Competition is our way of showing relentless support to existing and future SMEs in the region,” Numan said.
The competition is open for a month to all aspiring entrepreneurs who can submit their business plans beginning today (August 17) until September 17, 2015 at www.rakftz.com/champ.
