The annual combined pass for Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park has been priced at Dh995 a year, or mere Dh83 a month.

Sales of the passes has begun at www.legoland.ae, which enables buyers to be the “first to play” at the theme park’s 60 rides, slides and attractions before it officially opens to the public in October 2016.

The annual two-park combo pass is priced at Dh995, with the annual pass for Legoland Dubai is Dh765.

“The first annual pass holders will become privileged members that will be among the first families ever to try our rides and attractions, and will enjoy incentives including special access to private events helping to build the park, as well as a Lego brick and Annual Pass Card,” said Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of Legoland Dubai.

In addition to 12 months admission to the theme park, all annual pass holders will have benefits such as discounts on the park’s retail, food and beverage besides special offers all through the year.

Legoland, aimed at children from 2 to 12 years, features over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions and 15,000 Lego model structures made from over 60 million Lego bricks.  The park has six themes – Lego City, Adventure, Kingdoms, Imagination, Factory and Miniland.

On the construction side, “Splash-N-Swirl”, the water park’s first slide has been installed and on completion the water park will over 20 water slides and attractions, including “Build-A-Raft River” where children of all ages can customise their own raft using Lego soft bricks.  They can also “Build-A-Boat” using countless bricks before testing their design against the flow of water in a 10 metre river.

Legoland will be operated by Merlin Entertainments Plc.

In its presentation in November 2015, Dubai Parks and Resorts, the developer of the Dh10.5 billion theme park destination, put the estimated 2017 price of a single day ticket for Bollywood Parks at Dh285, Motiongate Dubai at Dh330, while Legoland Dubai and Legoland Waterpark at Dh295 and Dh245, respectively.

In a statement sent to Emirates 24/7, the company said the pricing structure for the other parks will be “similar” and details of annual passes will be announced soon. It added that the destination is scheduled to open in October and it does do not foresee any delays in that.

The other elements of the destination include:

Motiongate Dubai
