Shariah Audits in Banking & Financial Sector Conference begins

A workshop on "Shariah Audits in Banking & Financial Sector" started today (December 8th) in Muscat, Oman, targeting the executives who work in the traditional and Islamic banks. 

Organized by Mawarid Consultancy, the 2-days workshop aims at introducing a comprehensive, robust and well-functioning Shariah governance system to ensure that all products and Services approved and provided by the organization are widely recognized as being Shariah compliant".

Rehab Lootah, Managing Director of Mawarid Consultancy, said: "This workshop covers areas such as the evolving global Islamic finance sector, development of local Islamic financial sector, and the takaful fundamentals and roadmap.
