Standard Chartered has announced the appointment of Julian Wynter as the new Chief Executive Officer for its business in the UAE.

With an international career spanning over 30 years, Julian brings a wealth of banking and audit experience to the UAE, having led the Bank’s Malaysia and Japan business as CEO and having held several senior management roles in audit.

Julian was most recently Group Head of Internal Audit reporting directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer providing independent assurance to the management and the Board on the effectiveness of the systems and controls within the Bank.
