Representatives of the General Civil Aviation Authority General Civil Aviation (GCAA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Pakistan to increase number of flights between the two countries.
According to the MoU, the two sides agreed to increase the passenger flights to 12 weekly for the national carriers.
The deal was signed by Omer bin Ghaleb, Deputy Director General of GCAA on behalf of the UAE, while on the Pakistani side by undersecretary at the Pakistani Ministry of Defence Major General Raja Mohammed Aref.
UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, Eisa Abdullah Al Basha lauded in a statement to Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the results of the GCAA delegation visit, which focused on increasing the number of flights of national carriers between the two countries to serve increasing number of travellers.
