UAE retailers invited to participate in Ramadan Night Market

Retailers and brands operating in the UAE have been invited to participate in the 5th edition of Ramadan Night Market slated to be held from June 23 to July 2 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The annual event attracts thousands of families and individuals, as the last year’s visitor footfall totaled 116,000 over 10 days.

Held during the holy month of Ramadan, the night market is an alternative to malls allowing people to complete their Eid shopping.

Reports claimed that in the last few years people tend to spend more during Ramadan.

“Being a unique concept, Ramadan Night Market has drawn a lot of attention since its inception both from retailers and visitors as its profitable to both,” said Samantha Cordeiro Miranda, Brand Manager at Sumansa Exhibitions, the event organizers.

“The market is beneficial for small business enterprises and home grown concepts which need such platforms to boost sales as well as established brands who want to reach their target market in a more intimate environment. I’d like to invite UAE retailers to the night souq for participation in an event that has progressed from strength to strength, year on year.”

Ramadan Night Market showcases a variety of product categories, including garments, jewellery and accessories, health and beauty products, personal care, perfumes, leather items, food items, furniture and handicrafts, travel and tourism, electronic and home appliances, souvenirs, collectibles and gift items, toys and baby products, automobiles and much more.
