Vachani honoured for Indo-UAE ICT trade

MK Lokesh, Ambassador of India to UAE, honoured Kamal Vachani, Regional Director, Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) of India, for his meritorious services to promote Indo-UAE trade in electronics and information technology in Dubai.

Lokesh also lauded the efforts made by Vachani in assisting the small and medium companies in both the countries to promote trade and cooperation.

DK Sareen, Executive Director, ESC appreciated the services of Vachani, saying that the Council started its participation in Gitex with just 10 companies. But with the support and efforts of Vachani and the Council, nearly 43 companies are participating at ongoing Gitex, inspite of global recessionary trends.

Indian exports has grown to $59 billion representing remarkable growth, said Vachani, vowing to continue promoting trade and cooperation between the two countries.
