Gopio Dubai’s executive committee formed

The Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (Gopio) has formed the executive committee of its Dubai chapter with Kamal Vachani as president and Aswini Borkotoky as general secretary.

The executive committee’s  members are  Siddharth Balachandran, Deepak Arora, Suresh Lakhiani, Issac John, Dilip Awtani, Ajay Sethi, Manoj Prasad, Ajay Bindroo, Deepak Babani and Shakir Kantawala.

Gopio  is a non-partisan global organisation promoting the well being of people of Indian origin, enhancing cooperation and communication between Indians living in different countries.

“We have to take the Dubai chapter of Gopio forward and involve ourselves in forming sub-committee, meeting people, organising seminars and make Gopio’s Dubai chapter a very strong.  We also planning to form chapters in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, etc.  We would like to work for the cause of the Indian community worldwide,” said Kamal Vachani.
