Etisalat sign deal to develop 5G

Laying the foundation for the next generation of super-speed connectivity, Etisalat Group, a leading telecoms operator in the Middle East, Asia and Africa and Huawei—a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider—have announced today the signing of a new agreement that will see the two companies deepen their cooperation in pioneering telecom broadband services over the next five years across the region.

A joint team will be set up to conduct the trial of 5G services, which are the first ever trials of their kind across the Middle East.
