How much does Apple's iPad Pro 9.7-inch in 24K gold cost in UAE?

24K gold-plated 9.7-inch iPad Pro now available on pre-order, with free shipping to UAE

UK-based-luxury customising firm Truly Exquisite is the first off the block with pre-orders for the ‘luxury’ version of the just unveiled 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

Emirates 24|7 revealed last month that the British firm was the first to offer the new, (then) yet to be released Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 edge in a 24K gold finish.

The firm has done it again, and maintain that they have already received pre-orders for the hot-off-the-press Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch, which was unveiled not more than 48 hours ago by Apple at a launch event in California.

The firm is offering the new iPad Pro in the three finishes that it also offers the recently available Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge – in a 24K Gold, Platinum and 18k Rose Gold finish.

Prices will start from £1,850 (Dh9,500) for the 24K gold-plated 9.7-inch version of the iPad Pro, with the platinum-plated version setting you back by a neat £1,950 (Dh10,100) and the Rose Gold version costing £1,900 (Dh9,850).

The firm has already been retailing the bigger 12.9-inch iPad Pro in precious-metal finishes starting £2,050 (Dh10,600).

Truly Exquisite says it is expecting high demand for the luxury precious-metal finishes on the new iPad Pro, and claims that, within hours of it offering the new iPad via their website, orders have already been placed.

“I think the new iPad Pro has been an announcement many people have welcomed, and we are thrilled to announce the three luxury finishes we will be offering to customers,” says Kunal Patel, owner and CEO of Truly Exquisite.

“We are already working on special limited edition iPads that we will release along with the standard luxury plated finishes; we want our products, as well as our customers to stand out from what's available in the market and these designs certainly will do that.”

As with all of their other products, the iPad comes sitting snuggly in a luxury box with an authenticity certificate, and will also include a (free) Apple Smart Keyboard as well as free worldwide shipping.

The firm reiterated that dispatch of the new iPads is expected to be around 2-3 weeks after the official release date by Apple.
