A new smartphone case responds to tickling.
The life-like skin has been developed by a team of researchers in Bristol and responds to human contact. If the user tickles the case, a laughing emoji is produced on the phone's screen.
A video released by the research team shows them pinching, squeezing and prodding the device to zoom in or out.
Project leader Mark Teyssier said he understands that people may find the case "creepy".
He told the BBC: "I do think its creepy - I get it.
"We are not used to human touch on objects. This project has made people reflect on what technology is and why this is creepy."
Mark has no plans to market the case, suggesting that it can be easily reproduced.
