Work progresses on Dh800m Dubai Wharf project in Culture Village

Dubai Properties (DP), the development arm of Dubai Properties Group, has said construction work at its Dh800-million Dubai Wharf project is progressing as per schedule with infrastructure work in the Culture Village master development set for completion by first quarter 2015.

"Over nine per cent of the total construction work has been completed after work started in November 2015, which includes enabling and substructure works. The basement level slab concrete layout work is currently ongoing, post which the ground level construction activities will commence," the developer said in a statement.

Mohammad Al Habbai, DP spokesperson, said: “Dubai Wharf is a unique development alongside the Dubai Creek that upon completion will offer residents and visitors a distinctive mix of retail and entertainment as well as a canal promenade for a relaxed living experience. Looking at the progress we are confident that we will be able to fulfil our commitment to delivering this project on time while meeting the highest quality standards.”

Over 90 per cent of the infrastructure work at Culture Village has been completed with the remaining works expected to be completed by first quarter 2015 along with the 132 KV substation that will be energized by second quarter 2015, the company said. The landscaping and marina design works are also progressing as per schedule alongside the access road works within the destination.

The development is accessibility from Business Bay crossing and the nearest metro station is Al Jaddaf.

DP has already delivered residential and mixed-use developments including Jumeirah Beach Residence, The Villa, Mudon and Remraam in Dubailand, and Executive Towers, Vision Tower and Bay Square projects in Business Bay.
