35,000 captagon pills in car seat

Saudi border customs inspectors seized nearly 35,000 captagon pills hidden under the back seat of a car crossing into the Gulf Kingdom from neighboring Jordan.

The inspectors in the border town of Hala Ammar decided to search the vehicle after suspecting the driver was transporting illegal items.

“About 35,000 captagon tablets were found hidden under the back seat of the car. They were stuffed inside the bottom of the seat,” customs director Bandar Al Raheeli said, quoted by the Arabic language daily ‘Ajel’.
