4 maids flee employer to join vice ring

A court in Abu Dhabi sentenced four housemaids to one year in prison and ordered their deportation after they were convicted of fleeing their employers to join a vice ring for more money, newspapers reported on Thursday.

The court sentenced their pimp to five years in jail and ordered his deportation from the UAE after he confessed of encouraging the maids to get involved in vice.

Police had stormed their suspected apartment and arrested the four and the ring leader following a tip off, according to the press.
