Dad molests teen girl, attempts suicide

Colombo: A father who molested his 15-year-old daughter later attempted taking his own life, reported ‘Mawbima’.

He hanged himself from a tree but his neighbours caught him on time, saving his life.

He is recovering in hospital.

Preliminary investigations revealed that he had molested his minor daughter.

His wife has left him and their girl and is living with another man.

The 45-year-old suspect will be taken under police custody once he is discharged from hospital.
