Fleeing man has 117 year jail sentence

A Kuwaiti fleeing a police patrol was found to have been sentenced to 117 years in prison in four criminal cases.

When the cops asked for the ID papers of the passengers in a taxi during a crackdown on illegal migrants, one man jumped out of the car and ran away.

“He was chased by the police and arrested. Police found that he had been on the run after he was sentenced to a total 117 years in prison in four criminal cases,” the Arabic language daily ‘Al Watan’ said without identifying the prisoner.
