Fleeing manager runs over staff member

A company manager in Saudi Arabia overran a worker near its offices after he tried to drive away to flee protesters demanding their wages.

The manager of the unnamed firm tried to negotiate with the company employees in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah but fled after they chased him.

“He overran two workers…one of them died on the spot while the other was rushed to hospital in a serious conditions…police are investigating the incident,” the Arabic language daily Sabq said.
