18,000 fake Louis Vuitton watches seized

Ajman police seized nearly 18,000 fake Louis Vuitton watches worth around Dh4.5 million during raids on a number of local electronic shops.

Newspapers said police raided the shops after receiving a tip-off that a dealer was selling the watches to those shops, which in turn were marketing the products.

“The police command will deal firmly with anyone who tries to manipulate the consumers and market harmful products,” Ajman’s police commander Brigadier Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi said.
